I brought a bottle of this product to try on our bedroom carpet - we have 2 large dogs that sleep on the floor of our room and I have to treat the carpet about every 4 weeks because if I don't it gets CRAZY. I was looking for an Arm & Hammer brand replacement that would remove dog odors but leave a very strong bad perfume smell for days after use. This stuff has a really nice citrus scent that isn't overpowering and basically goes away after you vacuum it. First I vacuumed the room very well, sprinkled in a thin layer of powder (I used the whole bottle for one room) and let sit for about 45 minutes before vacuuming. The dog smell was gone, leaving only a faint sweet orange smell. I think I found my new carpet powder.
