The Core i5 2500K that has been overclocked from 3.3 GHz to 4.6 GHz is kept cool by this cooler. During the LinX test, which places the processor under its greatest amount of load, the temperature does not exceed seventy degrees. While using the BOX chiller, the temperature reached 100 degrees. These are the temperatures when measured at 4.6 gigahertz. V Core is what is used by default. During periods of inactivity, the temperature drops to about 26-28 degrees. :)) Who cares about the results of the cooler when it was running at the standard processor frequency of 3.3 GHz? When it was paired with the native BOX cooler, the temperature rose to 85 degrees while booting, while it never exceeded 54 degrees when using the Zalman. A case that is adequately ventilated and has a good airflow is quite helpful when using this cooler (I have a fan in the front for intake, one in the side cover is also for intake, one for exhaust in the back and two in the ceiling for exhaust too). A fantastic ice chest for the price is one that I would suggest. It is preferable to discover that it will be at least tough.
