Fantastic laboratory quality pH meter. I love it for our aquariums, ponds and quarantine tanks.

I needed a reasonably accurate pH meter for our pond and aquarium. These embroidery styles just didn't work - due to accuracy issues, leaking or leaking batteries, or just plain spatter. This device is too big for the weekly tests I run, but it does the job. The downside is that it takes up little space in my workshop and I had to make a dust cover for it - there's a saw in the next room. It's dust and splash proof (IP54) but I want my electronics to stay clean. In fact, it's not designed to be taken apart and stored permanently. Large, easy to read and pressable buttons and a detailed display with a combination of symbols, text and large numbers. I had to double check the manual to verify all the information. smiling face? read stable. The stand that came with my device was pale blue instead of ivory. The Ph800 has so many features that you really need to read the manual a few times to get the most out of it. The kit comes with a handy "cheat sheet" that I keep next to the unit. Since many of the buttons serve dual functions, it's really convenient to have a short press versus a long press. The only thing I would change is that I want it to be 12V instead of 9V. This would make things easier when needed for field work. Includes calibration solutions, probe, cable, block and stand.
