Review on Tosnail Leather Craft Stitching Wrapped by Kelly Caballes

For the most part I just bought this because it would be easier to spend $22 than spend time building it. I didn't expect much from him and it's not surprising that he's not very reliable. The clamping mechanism works normally, but the clamping action is uneven. The side closest to me holds the piece of skin much tighter than the other side. The other side usually slips. Tightening the clamp doesn't help as the bumps are still there. I'm afraid of over tightening for fear of pulling the screws underneath or cracking the wood. My guess is that the jaws aren't square, or maybe the center of the clamp is slightly offset. It's still usable as is, so I'll just live with it for this project I'm working on. It's still easier to buy than to make, but I can only give 3 stars as it's mostly fine.
