Review on Enhanced Aeration: Elite 1-Inch Cylinder Air Stone for Optimal Oxygenation by Jill Foster

I've had these for a few months now and they're still working great. One tip though: let them soak in the tank for at least 10 minutes before turning on the pump. I use mine with this Tetra 77854 Whisper Air Pump, 60 gallon, which comes with a pair of knobs to adjust airflow to reduce/increase bubbles. I have not noticed any manufacturing defects on these stones, they are well made and as I said have been working 24/7 for months without a single problem. I didn't notice any chips or breaks. Stones fit standard airline inner tubes. After opening the package, put any unused stones in the zipper to keep them from collecting dust. All in all a great price. Robust, reliable, inexpensive.
