My first one broke due to poor packaging by the seller and careless handling by the courier. However, Revain quickly replaced him. The replacement arrived safe and sound, although it was still poorly packaged meaning it had very little protective material to protect this heavy slab from bumps, breakage or chipping. Anyway, I got this because I'm grilling steaks this weekend and I want to get good grilling results without going outside. I also didn't want large, full-size grills/pans because they're too heavy, difficult to maneuver when cleaning, take up more storage space, and are bulkier overall. I love that this little plate works on a burner so I can cook enough food on it. I seasoned it again and used steak oil. I had no sticking, but the charred residue and grease was a bit difficult to pull off the griddle. However, I used a cleaning brush which cleaned it sufficiently. It withstood the heat of my burner at full blast. Of course there was smoke, but that's not a problem because I just turned on the fan on the hood. Heats up quickly, keeps you warm. Traces of the grill were applied but to be honest they didn't add any flavor. I prefer to cook on a Korean griddle, which also has a non-stick coating. But I keep it to myself because it's convenient.
