The Fotasy FD to EOS R adapter works well with older Canon FD lenses from the 1970s and 1980s on Canon R-mount mirrorless cameras. I've hoarded these lenses for decades in hopes of using them again. The lenses never worked on EF mount cameras; ie there were adapters but in my opinion none worked well, didn't fit and the results were poor. This particular adapter got good reviews which is why I ordered it when I recently bought an EOS R camera. I'm glad some of those old lenses are still capable of producing vibrant images.
