Used as a key for a boat engine. It works. You have to use a digital counter to find out which messages are what. It works, but after a week the key is already rusting. Not sure how long that will take. Look for a brass wrench solution if you intend to use this "waterproof" wrench in a marine environment. Also, a "D" shaped hole needs to be cut to prevent rotation. The flat surfaces are fairly small so there isn't much play in the hole shape to keep the switch from turning. There is no pattern either.
