Ideal for switches

The switch was easy to install. I wish there was a little more grip between my console and the shifter since the shifter body can pivot in the console. I'll add my own padding to fix it.

not very well done on the ignition starter

The switch works as promised, the problem is in the assembly. The plastic threads on the nuts holding the switch break off. Stripping occurred during manual tightening. will have to be replaced

I wish I knew that it's instantly in position 3 with a spring return in position 2.

The product is good, decent quality and came quickly I thought. This is a snap action switch in position 3, similar to an automotive application. I could have missed it but figured it would hold in position 3 and not rebound. I can get it to work, just slightly different wiring.

Didn't work due to wrong wiring, had to be repaired.

Didn't work when attempting to install. Wanted to send it back but I needed it and it had to work. Opened it up to find that whoever assembled it obviously had no idea what they were doing as the wiring was wired wrong dammit! I redid it and NOW it works. Maybe quality control needs to be done before shipping? (Shit because this is NOT the first time I've bought something like this from Amazon.)

May be waterproof but will rust after 1 week

Used as a key for a boat engine. It works. You have to use a digital counter to find out which messages are what. It works, but after a week the key is already rusting. Not sure how long that will take. Look for a brass wrench solution if you intend to use this "waterproof" wrench in a marine environment. Also, a "D" shaped hole needs to be cut to prevent rotation. The flat surfaces are fairly small so there isn't much play in the hole shape to keep the switch from turning. There is no pattern…
