For a long time, I considered this brand to be the best for home and office use with light loads. A router that can do everything. And this particular model is also very powerful - a whole 1 W, citizens! 1 W is a lot! But! It was. And now everything is different. Initially, this power could be leveled by the lack of a filter at the reception and, as a result, poor noise immunity - a 4G modem working nearby could fill up your input and nullify all the pluses. But this is a rare case. But what is now relevant - with the new firmware, this router is cut to 100 mW. In fact, 4 steps from the router, the connection is already unstable, the signal is weak. Yes, my smartphone gives a larger communication radius. And the connection breaks regularly. Only in the immediate vicinity is the connection good. It is theoretically possible to solve this problem by installing a non-2022 firmware. But this is only possible from under Windows. Rolling Windows for the sake of flashing this router seemed to me excessive hemorrhoids. I gave up mikrotik at home. One of the long-standing problems is weak USB power. In practice, this is expressed in the fact that the modem, connected not directly to the port, but through a cable, constantly hangs. Theoretically, this could be solved by using an active hub, but I haven't tried it.
