I've been using it for more than a year, fairly frequently. Every weekend in the country, it doesn't turn off until it is totally discharged. I believe the efficiency is 110% when compared to other JBL speakers (subjectively). These sizes offer far greater quality and volume than more pricey ones (an order of magnitude more expensive). They reproduce music better, without a doubt, because my pals have Xtreme 3, Boombox 2, and I have BASS PRO GO, but there's a sense that something is castrating about all of this. I don't dispute that the sound quality is superior to that of Flip 5 and bass and top, but it's still insufficient; it should play better, more forcefully, and louder. Feelings like that make you realize that you were duped into spending that much money on speakers. What an optical illusion. When something "with a capital letter" is seen and something is "not reported" in the output, you are left wanting more. For five plus, Flip 5 gets its money back. Without having high hopes, I purchased it for my son like a tambourine, and I was pleased. Saying you were astonished is code for keeping your mouth shut. Everything is genuine, including what you see and hear, and nothing is stated to get your approval. A little flea biting, as they say.
