Review on Triple Pack Hair Snake Tool - Ultimate Hair Clog Remover for Kitchen, Bathroom, and Toilet Drain Cleaning - Forlivese 25 Inch Drain Opener by Victor Ahmed

It works like a fishing hook... so it needs something to hook onto.

I've pulled a lot of junk out of drains and sewers in over 50 years and this little device needs something substantial to be effective. There is most likely hair in the house, so if there is no hair in the sewer, it could be useless. Unless you wash your hair in it, a regular sink has clogs that are mostly sticky and consist of snot, mucus, toothpaste, mustache bristles, saliva, and possibly some vomit. There's nothing in the slime for it to cling to, so either remove the trap and clean it, or try a plunger. but it is better not to immerse this blob in your system, so remove the trap. The same goes for the kitchen sink, which is probably clogged with grease, oil, spoiled food, or whatever's in the bathroom sink... depending on what you're doing in that sink. Again, there's nothing to snag here, so remove the trap. If removing the trap doesn't work, take a pipe snake and screw it into your pipe. If more than one sink is clogged, it's most likely a sewer pipe (large 4 inches), so it's either a big snake or a pro. Hand kites often work and are inexpensive for snakes around 25 feet in length. The drain in my tub, we shower in the tub and wash our hair in there, was clogged but still draining slowly, so I bought this trick. It didn't go through the drain holes so I had to remove the panel and then I saw the hairball and pulled it out by hand so it was completely unusable. I'm sure it can grab some hair and pull out a clump if that's causing the clog down there...which is unlikely except where you wash your hair. It has potential but I can't rate it better than 'OK' as it didn't work for its intended purpose... and it's closer to 2 stars.
