Does what it's supposed to, but not for everyone.

Do not use this card if you intend to use a digital USB or Bluetooth headset for direct data transfer. I have mixed feelings about this card. He does exactly what he says. I think my expectations were a bit high but I ended up setting it up the way I wanted. From a technical point of view, there are a few things to consider. This device appears to only provide direct audio from the input jacks to its own output jacks. That said, if like me you planned to use a USB gaming headset to listen to this card, it won't work directly. However, there are several ways to simplify this. You can go into the properties of the device in Windows, click on the Hearing tab and then check the Hearing tab of that device and then point to Headphones or Speakers if you are not using any of the card's onboard audio output ports. . Alternatively, you can get a third-party program like Virtual Audio Cable and dictate channels that way too. Second, S/PDIF inputs can use a very wide range of frequencies and bit rates. You'll find out if you want to use S/PDIF for direct transfer like I did. You must use 16-bit 48000kHz to prevent the sound from slowing down or speeding up. Any setting other than this requires a third-party buffer to convert the audio into an audible signal. However, this way you don't allow forwarding, you get am/s latency due to buffering. In retrospect, this card is particularly suitable for studio or sound development. Having a raw, uncompressed format to work with is extremely helpful and maintains a high level of quality during recording. However, as a direct transit device, this might not be the best choice in the long run. Even with the frequency set to 16-bit 48000kHz, I still get a choppy and harsh sound on some digital audio inputs. Although maybe it has something to do with the age of my computer. Future testing is required. I won't be returning the card, but for the price, it basically does what I need it to do and will be God's gift for any solid development I need to make in the future.
