    Great value for money

I have always used a Sound Blaster sound card but none of these cards worked on my newly built Windows 10 system. Installing the driver causes my computer to blue screen. So I took a chance with this obscure sound card and got positive results. The card, driver and sound console are easy to install. The sound quality is very good, although I would like a signal-to-noise ratio of around 106 instead of 92. The soundbar has many options to enhance the listening experience. It is worth noting that…

There are some problems with the internals

I bought 2 of these cards for the 2 computers I use. Both with Windows 7 64 bit. Works great on a computer. Does everything it's supposed to. Another computer is not very good. On the second computer, I only get sound from the center analog output. I can toggle outputs and inputs on the control screen but nothing happens. I don't have an optical input and I can't switch inputs even though the screen says they are active. I tried the card on a working computer, the card works as it should. I…

Does what it's supposed to, but not for everyone.

Do not use this card if you intend to use a digital USB or Bluetooth headset for direct data transfer. I have mixed feelings about this card. He does exactly what he says. I think my expectations were a bit high but I ended up setting it up the way I wanted. From a technical point of view, there are a few things to consider. This device appears to only provide direct audio from the input jacks to its own output jacks. That said, if like me you planned to use a USB gaming headset to listen to…

SPDIF Coax FTW - I can record DAT audio again

I had a SoundBlaster Live Platinum card with a Live Disc tray/interface. This 16 year old card didn't work well with a modern motherboard and operating system and I didn't want to download homemade drivers to try and get it working. I used the SB Live Drive's coaxial SPDIF input to record DAT music, so playing it back was painful. I started looking for another self-service card to fill the bill. The problem quickly emerged that all of today's sound cards (if they support SPDIF input at all)…

    Mine is bullshit

I bought this sound card hoping that I could use it to replace the Realtek onboard sound that died on the Lenovo ThinkCentre PC. It worked for me once. When I then added the computer to my domain and rebooted, it no longer found the card. I moved it to another PCI slot and was able to install the drivers. After installing the drivers everything worked. until I restarted my computer, after which the card stopped responding again. The manufacturer needs to update the drivers. Your website is…
