
I'm a retired auto mechanic so I've used Snap-On.Mac and Matco tooling products. IMO in many cases it's not worth the second mortgage you need to be able to buy from "tool trucks". ".This isn't the first Autel scanner I've bought for home use. I have an OLD Autel AA101 ABS/Airbag that still works like new. I bought this MaxiCheck Pro for automatic brake bleeding. VIN from my GMC to make sure the tool works on my truck. I got an email saying YES it will work. the same tool on the truck, almost identical to mine. He worked great. I pulled the trigger and bought the scanner on Black Friday. in the scroll list. I called Autel support and spoke to one of the "techies" who basically told me the tool I bought was nothing more than a cod reader and we agreed that I should send it back to Revain Utube video I watched?.hmmm.I'll shorten the story a bit here. desktop. I went to the Autel website. Updated the tools SD card, and voila, everything works perfectly. I mentioned how important this is to me when I call "Tech Support". any tech support for anything i have. that the "techie" knows more about the product than I do?.. that didn't happen when I called Autel
