I've traveled too long with bulky grocery scales. It was really a hassle and I switched to this thing that easily fits in my pocket. They can't handle as much weight as a regular food scale, but still they hold around 1kg, which I think is more than enough. You simply cannot put very heavy dishes or a pan on it. This is a great scale. The light is amazing. It stays on for a long time, which I found bad at first because it drains the battery, but then I forgot to note the weight of the food several times, which saved me a lot of time measuring again. Accuracy is the same as any other scale I've tried. Highly recommended for travellers.
