Review on 🏈 PodiuMax 8ft x 8ft Knotless Throwing Net for Improved QB Accuracy, Portable Football Trainer with 5 Target Pockets and Carry Bag by John Springer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Weak frame and big size upgraded

I bought this net for my kids who are starting to play soccer. It's fun for the whole family, but there are notable limitations and downsides to this grid. First, the mesh wears out after just 2 weeks of use. Each target surface/pocket will wear down with moderate use and junior sized footballs. I have no confidence that this net will last longer than this season. Second, the frame isn't the strongest. With 1 soccer ball in each of the 2 top pockets, the frame will flex to the point where it looks like it will break. My 6 year old throws pretty decently and if you don't secure the net it will fall for sure. You shouldn't have too many soccer balls in the net either, since the net is usually destroyed by weight. You should also keep in mind that the frame's legs are wide, so moving it from place to place will require you to completely disassemble it. There is no way to get it through the doorpost. You have to collect it every time, but it's pretty easy. I probably wouldn't buy this net. Suitable for young children, but will not last long in middle school and above. Update 9/17/21: Marcia from podiumax contacted us to see if she could help with some of the issues we are tackling with the network. Even before she emailed us, a replacement web was sent. I was surprised and shocked that she would go so far to help a customer. The replaceable mesh is higher quality, but the frame is still a bit flimsy in my opinion. We still have too much flexibility and only a few footballs in our pockets. Marcia occasionally called the server just to follow up and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of amazing customer service. My original rating has changed from 2 to 4 stars. Thank you Marcia!
