Review on Travel Berkey Filter Filters Fluoride by Julie Terrones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Read carefully when basing your decision on reviews. The negatives contain useful information!

I wish I had read all the one and two star reviews before purchasing the Travel Berkey. First, it didn't meet the needs of my family of 3 and the water was filtered for ages. And sometimes, to make the filtered water flow out of the lower chamber a little faster, I raised the upper chamber a bit so that it flowed out of the tap faster than a trickle. But more importantly, I didn't like the whitish coating in the water or on the bottom of the camera. One reviewer said it was some form of arsenic fluoride filter aluminum. Based on experiences and even tests done by other people I was dismayed by their findings and results and decided not to waste the 30 day return window trying to troubleshoot or figure out how to get the quality water, that I expected. That. Since there has been so much evidence of rusting in Berkee, I figured this might be a problem I'll run into in the future as the water in our area is very corrosive to plumbing and water heaters. My pets even have rust stains in stainless steel water bowls that need regular cleaning. I really wanted it to be good and was very disappointed that it didn't work for me.
