They are good for some messes! I would compare them to all armor and Weiman leather cloths. I think the most important thing to know is that they leave a greasy residue. They smell great and clean, but nothing special! I tried them in my kitchen and for a messy mess, fun goo, they didn't leave a dent. You will need a coarse washcloth for this. But if you just want to dust some dust or wipe down stainless steel, they do the job well and leave a nice shine!
