Worry No More - Dogs

I have two dogs that I only wear with dog training collars so they can run around the yard whenever they want. The problem is, my dogs are outside with me and if I'm not 100% careful my Belgian Malinois will come to the edge of my property and want to greet anyone who comes by. Now, when this person walks their dog, my dog wants to be a bully, so I chose an underground fence. PROS.1. Customer service is phenomenal! I bought an underground fence with a training collar. It only comes with a dollar, so I had to buy a second one. I called them and they explained how to add a second dollar to the system, change shock settings, etc.2. Ease of installation. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to route and bury a cable.3. It's expensive but worth every penny. One of my dogs is a Belgian Malinois, stubborn and I should have bought one sooner. I no longer have to stand on the porch in the cold waiting for my dogs to do their thing. I can let them out, go into the kitchen and make coffee and they stay in the yard. This is an excellent quality product.4. The general block gives you different options like border notification, underground fence violation warning system so it doesn't work. Battery life is excellent.CONS1. THE TRAINING PART DOES NOT COST THE EXTRA MONEY! I wanted a training/underground fence combination so I paid for it. I didn't want to go through the hassle of changing collars when we went to the park, walked etc. I have a standalone dog training sport collar and it's not an underground collar, it's just a training collar. This will be setting 1 and my dog will go into shock when he starts behaving. Now with the electric fence/training collar at the maximum setting of 8 my dog is not even phased. Save some money and just get the non-educational version.2. I bought 1000 feet of cable. Since splicing is required you would think they would provide enough equipment to do all the splicing. You need at least three connections when working above 500 feet. One connector to connect two 500ft reels together, plus two connectors where you unplug the cord for your dogs to cross in the yard. Be sure to buy splice kits from Amazon. You only need waterproof fittings that can be buried underground. I couldn't find the local hardware store that sold them. NEUTRAL1. The low battery notification is a beep every 30 seconds or so. The same beep sounds when your dog is near the boundary wire in the garden. If a dog in the house is wearing a collar and starts beeping, your dog is letting you know what's going on, so just keep an eye on him or remove the collar every time he's in the house.
