I was amazed at how easy this product was to apply compared to regular henna. My hair was so straight and beautifully colored I thought it was too good to be true. After trying to order a second time and reading the reviews more carefully, I noticed that some people are complaining about the chemical ingredients. I took a closer look at the box and couldn't figure out where those ingredients were. I turned the box over and finally found the full list of ingredients on the bottom flap of the box! The active ingredient list in large print does not contain any chemical-sounding substances. Now I don't know how bad these things are, but I don't like how misleading the ads are. They have an ingredient list right on the side of the box that lists all natural ingredients. They have another list in the fine print repeating the same active ingredients (so you probably won't read any further) with a whole bunch of other ingredients at the very end of the long list! Although this product has worked well for my Asian black/grey hair, I will not be buying this again as I don't like how misleading it is.
