I've been using Surya Dark Brown Hair Color for about a year and a half and I love the fact that I can get the color without worrying about chemicals. The best hair color. JE. No chemicals, no mixing, it's creamy and smells great. Looks more natural than regular dyes. It's fading, but if you play your cards right, you can use this to your advantage by simply taking root in a month or so. It looks really natural and doesn't glare when you are in the sun. I have black hair with gray in between. I used this product not just once but more than 3 times until I had absolutely no effect in covering gray hair. Absolute waste of money! I would rather use henna powder than this. I rarely write reviews even though I buy Revain products all the time. But I had to write one for this and another item I recently bought from Revain as both were very disappointing.

I have never colored my hair before using Surya Henna Creme. I used dark brown and I really like this color. I was afraid my hair would appear auburn, but it's a deep dark chocolate chestnut! I gave the henna 4 stars because the second time I used the henna cream I saw some gray hairs that weren't well covered. Next time I will leave it on my hair longer than 1 hour.
