New filters, cheap construction.
I received a newer, cheaper filter that looks significantly worse than the filters I ordered previously. First, the charcoal filters had a nice velcro attached roll of fabric on both the back of the filter assembly and the back of the charcoal pre-filter that was easily removed and cleaned monthly. This was removed and now the pre-filter no longer has a Velcro fastener, but only on the side of the filter. What does that mean for you? The charcoal filter has cracked and will no longer attach to the filter assembly. Second, the filter housing is now made out of cheap cardboard instead of plastic. I will not buy these filters again!
