Review for: 'Neitra' Cabinet Installation ClampsThese appear to be well-made, but a little 'lighter duty' than I was expecting when compared to something like a Bessey or Pony Cabinet Clamp. What I mean by that is the hardware, (turn screws, guide bars, etc) are a lot smaller in diameter and just not as 'beefy'Also, I think they have the threads for the turn screws, backwards. To tighten the jaws, I would expect to turn the screw clockwise (to the right) to pull the two cabinets together, but it's reversed. On the Neitra, if your turn the side screw clockwise, the jaws spread further apart. Basically the same thing with the other screw.The main problem is the top screw plate, the one that insures the pieces are flush, is only 1 3/4" wide, so basically you're limited to7/8" styles. (The fact that the jaw opens to 3 7/8" doesn't matter if that plate doesn't cover the joint between the two cabinets)
