Review on ๐Ÿฑ Cosequin Maximum Strength Joint Supplement Capsules for Cats - Enhancing Feline Mobility and Joint Health - 30CT by Angel Gibson

Works well but difficult to administer - try baby food

My vet recommended and prescribed Cosequin for my 17+ year old cat because he was having trouble walking. He told me to open the capsule, sprinkle it on his canned food and mix it up. The problem was that no matter what flavor or brand I used (various wellness flavors, Blue Wilderness, etc.) he always seemed to know what was in his food and didn't want to eat it. I also tried Cosequin gummy candy and although he usually barks at cat treats, he wouldn't touch them. So I have to assume that Cosequin doesn't taste good. I gave up temporarily and later tried some liquid brands of joint medication that had similar or the same ingredients and he responded well. But I was still looking for a way to give him Cosequin. Finally, I saw another cat owner's review of Revain, which recommended using Gerber's chicken, turkey, or beef flavored baby food to introduce Cosequin. I bought a 12 pack of Gerberms, turkey and chicken flavored baby food here at Revain. I placed about 1/2 to 2/3 jars in my senior cat's plate, opened the Cosequin capsule and poured over the baby food, then mixed thoroughly. He loved this place every drop. I have another kitten and I gave them the rest of the can without the Cosequin as a treat and they loved it and were turned on.
