overclocking temperature; won't keep up.

Switch on the device and the temperature/power scale starts to work up to the maximum value regardless of the selected scale. Volrath Service gave me a Midwest garage number. I called and apparently it's a common issue with the decision to send it to them after paying over a hundred for diagnostics and as it was probably a charge based on their experience with other equipment I was advised , cheaper to buy brand new. We loved it when we first got it, put it away for a year when we didn't need it and found it unusable when we needed it last week. Perhaps commercial use can justify the cost and risk, but not for casual home use.
