This is a well-made and smart device that can save you some money on a Surface Book 2. I have the 15" model and saved a few hundred dollars by going for a 512GB SSD. Version over 1TB. Knowing that flush mount SD card adapters are available helped me. The Base Qi 351A is designed for the 15" Surface Book 2. It fits perfectly. It is completely secure, nothing gets in the way or snags, but leaves access to the nail groove at the top for easy removal if necessary. I have tried to capture in the picture how it sits and the groove for the nail.After installing SB2 I saw the card immediately and after powering off and restarting too.The aluminum edge of the device gives the adapter some rigidity and compliments the finish of the Surface Book doesn't quite fit in. The price for something as simple as an SD card adapter seems high, but it's a high-end device and can save you many times over on a high-end computer like the Surface Book 2.
