This is a ceiling light at a very good price for what you get. It holds 6 GU10 bulbs and each bulb can be customized. We received this in black and the device is beautiful. It is difficult to find a lamp with so many lamps and a beautiful design at this price. Installation is difficult. It is held in place only by a central "nut" that screws into the ceiling prop. The downside to this is that since the light is only held in the center, it can be turned around the center by hand when mounted on a very smooth surface like ours. This probably isn't a problem if installed directly to a drywall ceiling, or a problem in general unless someone is about to swing from the fixture. We had to use an overlay to hide the warped drywall from the ceiling fan we were replacing. Since the luminaire cannot be left hanging from the ceiling pole when wiring, it was a two-man job. with warmth. If you are using halogen bulbs, make sure your light switch and wiring is rated for the combined bulb wattage. Overall very happy with this purchase. We got another one in silver for our other bedroom.
