Review on WAHL 🔥 ISO-TIP 7700 Solder Iron by Dakota Afzalian

After reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. I am an automotive technician and I work in a large car factory. Sometimes the wire harnesses become damaged for various reasons and repairs must be made while the rope is in motion before the wire sinks into the structure. I got a butane soldering iron, but some repairs are buried and you can't blow hot exhaust fumes nearby on skin or other parts that might burn. This is my transition to iron now. Yes, it needs to be charged, but it's very convenient and heats up very quickly. I've had to buy a new tip, but kept it in a bag tossed over our repair truck. The tip holds up well and holds a charge well. I would like a brighter LED bulb and lithium technology for longer run times. Addendum: Still 5 stars! Still on my spare tip and I still use it several times a day. Other repair shops I work with have also replaced their butane irons with this one.
