Review on Nordic Ware Scottish Scone & Cornbread Pan: Grey, Perfect for Traditional Baking! by Rebecca Silinskaia

True non-stick coating for bread pans and loaf pans

I used to cut flatbread into triangles and baked them on a baking sheet but they spread during baking and I stopped baking every 5 minutes. -10 minutes to try to shape them with a spatula; They are still spreading across the sheet. I finally settled on one of these pans, even though they are expensive. I can say with confidence that I am delighted with this pan! I recently bought a second one to make double batches of buns - they don't last long here ;) I don't grease or flour them at all - and the buns fall out as soon as they bake - and they are perfectly formed and evenly cooked ! I've made about a dozen batches and they're still as nonstick as they were when they were new. We prefer dry/dense tortillas, so my recipe doesn't result in a sticky dough; Maybe people who have trouble sticking use a stickier dough? I don't know, but I love pans. I haven't made cornbread before, but it would be interesting to try. Cleaning is very easy - just use warm water and my fingers, some mild dish soap and then wipe dry. Since nothing sticks to them, cleaning after use takes little effort. Nordic Ware has a new fan :)
