I went for the S and it fits perfectly if it helps to get an idea of the sizing. I wore it all day and all night and his foot only came out once. I just love this outfit! John's slim long quality sweater feels and the stitching still appears to be of good quality. If they have other colors I will definitely buy more. The color matches the photos and the cute little bag is adorable.
