Review on Neofyte T14P Portable External Raspberry with Built-In Speakers, 60Hz by Joe Pinheiro

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The monitor is average in my opinion

I travel a lot and thought a second monitor would be nice. I'm a programmer by trade and was looking for a second monitor for my Visual Studio development. I found this monitor ok. It serves its purpose and could be a monitor, however I was not satisfied with a few things, most notably the stand. If I were to buy one I would compare it to other monitors in the comparable price range or plan to buy my own monitor stand. I think it is a good competitor and many buyers will choose it for its fair price and features. -C) and it just works - It's bright! - It gets the job done for basic web browsing, office suite features (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.), Visual Studio, SSMS, etc. - Image quality all on the right side - No dead pixels - Seems solid, me dropped it once and it still works and shows no signs of damage. Cons: - Poor monitor stand, they want you to use a protective case to hold it. The few angles I could get him to stop at just weren't right. It has a magnet trying to hold the display. The picture quality doesn't match my Surface screen. And the resolution doesn't match Apple's resolution - Sound is terrible (why even plug it in) - Colors are a bit wrong out of the box, had to tweak a bit Overall I like the monitor and will continue to use it. I will buy another monitor stand to travel with. I gave 3 stars because I didn't feel like I had to tell everyone to buy it. It just didn't have a WOW effect on me. Maybe if he had better posture.
