Review on Renewed Apple iPad Mini 4 (Gold, 128GB, Wi-Fi + Cellular) by Wisnu Buana ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

My parents have been using Apple products for a number of years, starting with the 4th generation iPhone, and they do not want to switch to a different brand or model of smartphone at this time. Although I am not a fan of Apple products myself, the fact remains that my parents use them. As a result, from time to time I made them upgrade their smartphones and tablets to versions that are more up to date. In particular, when I was preparing this iPad as a gift for my mother, I made the decision to first use it myself for approximately one month in order to set everything up and at the same time understand how convenient it would be for me to use it. This was done in preparation for giving the iPad to my mother as a present. I'll begin by focusing on the positive aspects. Naturally, this is due to the high build quality of the gadget as a whole, as well as the materials, screen, and thoughtfulness of the most recent versions of the operating system. Widgets, split screen, the ability to work with files without iTunes, and optimization of applications and games have finally appeared. These features, despite the smaller amount of RAM in comparison to the flagship device and from Android, often work better and have better graphics. All of this produces such an impressive first impression. As was the case with Android devices, the ability to transmit content to current televisions has finally broadened the ease of use in day-to-day life. The fact that a standard user is still unable to download software from sources other than the official store is undoubtedly one of the most significant drawbacks, and it is important to point this out. There are a lot of apps that are available for free on Android that are also available for purchase on this platform. On the other hand, some of those applications that function well on the iPhone do not function properly on the iPad, and even if you pay, you won't be able to discover equivalents that are totally functional. Apps like Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp are one example. Their iPad versions are a complete and utter disaster! In a similar vein as file managers. This has been a problem with this operating system for a very long time in its basic form. Thank you for making it such that at least a semblance of them has now been recreated, however in comparison to any android version, they are not convincing at all. In principle, any more or less decent program requires payment for use. In addition, this is increasingly not only a one-time purchase during the installation process; rather, it is a recurring monthly cost. As a consequence of this, I shall assert that there is currently no viable alternative to iPads for children ages 8 and up. Yet if it were up to me, I wouldn't take it.

Pros
  • Processor with a lot of power, assembly of the highest quality, and software that has been optimized. There are no challenges involved in locating and purchasing the accessories.
Cons
  • The closed nature of the operating system, which was not quite the same as it had been in the past but was still present. policy of the manufacturer regarding software developers and their work. The absence of fully functional alternatives to certain programs that are accessible for use on the iPhone. Very expensive in comparison to similar products that have more flagship-level specifications.
