When you first get the AVR, its simple red "plug and play" wire is always positive, it wasn't told it's positive wires, next time i checked it while working it only had 102 voltages on its output, that's not enough, the avr wasn't set to 120 volts. When new, you must turn the screw clockwise while the meter is on to get the correct tension. That's what the seller has to say, the consumer should have found out for himself.
