Got a dog across the country

I bought this because I have a large Pyrenees who likes to sit in the front seat or stick his head out of the sunroof. She flew forward from the back seat when I had to brake to avoid the accident. I had another type that goes in the seat belt buckle or loops through the seat belt. Both of my dogs are very smart and know how to push the button to get out. I bought it specifically to be able to withstand the weather like a car seat. She can't escape this. I have to say, although through no fault of the manufacturer, my dogs love to chew on it to get out, I had to put pepper sauce on them to stop them. Little devils!
