I don't understand what it is for. I thought it was a 3/8" ice maker power tee (I didn't know about a reverse osmosis filter since I don't have one). The stainless steel hose nut on the stainless steel ice maker doesn't fit the third hole, and it seems not giving a way to make a watertight connection using 1/4" soft copper tubing (tried with a compression sleeve, not included, doesn't work). it does not work). It could work with flexible plastic tubing, but that's not what I use or want to use. Instructions are not included. No problem, I'll send it back. everywhere, everywhere, everywhere.
