Non-standard 1/4 inch compression fitting

I don't understand what it is for. I thought it was a 3/8" ice maker power tee (I didn't know about a reverse osmosis filter since I don't have one). The stainless steel hose nut on the stainless steel ice maker doesn't fit the third hole, and it seems not giving a way to make a watertight connection using 1/4" soft copper tubing (tried with a compression sleeve, not included, doesn't work). it does not work). It could work with flexible plastic tubing, but that's not what I use or want to use.

Need an extra part. for rough plumbing

The part is good. Used on a reverse osmosis system to replace a part that broke accidentally during installation and it worked really great which is why I give it 3 stars. This piece is specifically for a pipeline that you need to put some kind of pipe in, and when you do that you need this flared piece of brass (not sure what the official name is) that will hold the pipe in place so that it doesn't leak or come off. Since it wasn't part of the whole component, it led me to go to the store. I…

Ideal for 3/8 " threaded water lines.

I used this product to connect the lines to my fridge. The product came with the required rubber washer on the inlet side so no travel to the HW -Bearing was required. I connected this adapter to the outlet side of the water valve that supplies water to my dishwasher. First, I connected a 1/4" plastic water hose to the adapter's fitting and tightened the nut securely. I then turned off the water and then disconnected the water hose that feeds the dishwasher. I then sealed the threads on the…

Just what I needed to install a water filter.

I spent hours in two different local shops trying to figure out how to mount my new water filter under the sink. Then I went to Revain and found this list about six items down. All compression fittings. Didn't even have to use tape. Since these are all compression fittings you will need the rubber tubing coming out of that valve I had. Similarly, the straight portion of the 3/8" tee simply slips into the main line's existing 3/8" compression fitting, extending it by about two inches. UPDATE…

Worked for my RO water filter system.

If you are installing a tee on the main water supply (for water filter, coffee maker, ice maker, etc.), make sure it has a valve. This allows you to turn off the water supply to your system (e.g. water filtration) without turning off the main kitchen faucet. The guy who installed our original RO water filtration just used a T with no valve, and after filtering the water the system started leaking (which they all do after a few years), we couldn't get the flow to the filter without it turn off…

Very nice looks, sturdy BUT impossible to install safely

After reading some of the negative reviews about metal breakage I was amazed to see how durable this adapter looks. Also, the Watts water filter connects easily to the 1/4" connection. The section that screws into the faucet nut looks well made as pictured and is 9mm long which is very good. BIG issue: The length of the Thread in the nut is only 5.8mm To my liking this cut is pretty tight, especially when the threads on the pipe it connects to don't go all the way, but to make matters worse…
