Buy it! There is nothing better! I've tried them all.

I have tried many different block boards, mats, squares - you name it. I used giant styrofoam chunks of fabric covered styrofoam floor tiles. the list is endless. Some of them were thin. Some of them were very heavy and difficult to move. Some just took up too much space. Some smelled so strongly of chemicals that I had to use them outdoors. With Knit IQ I've finally found a solution to almost every constipation issue I could possibly have. 1) They're thick enough that my T-pins won't go all the way (unless I press hard) 2) The blocks are clearly marked with lines so I can evenly space the ends of the laces, Align the seams and prevent the pieces from splitting easily. 3) I can customize the blocks to whatever size you want - ANY size will knit! 4) The blocks come in clean zipped clear vinyl sleeves making them very easy to store away - unlike a giant piece of foam. 5) If I need to take them out for a lockdown demo - I just grab as many boxes as I need and I'm good to go! Today I blocked a lace wedding chuppah - a canopy under which a Jewish couple get married. Its size is 72 x 72 inches. It took all 4 of my Knit IQ lockout kits, but it was dead easy! I simply adjusted and fixed the desired shape. Perfect! If you are looking for a perfect knitting or crochet solution, buy this one. Trust me when I say - I've tried them all and nothing works as well as the Knit IQ. And just in case you're thinking "she must have gotten them for free". Not correct.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
