Goods received very quickly. When I opened the package I noticed a slight odor as if it had already been used. It smelled like fermented grape juice. I heated the instruments in water until I was sure all bacteria had been killed. It would be nice if they would include documentation regarding the preparation on this. In addition to receiving a used product; I love them for my intended use. I use them in half gallon fruit juice jugs and they fit perfectly. If you're wondering about size: Buy a 64-ounce bottle of Welch grape juice and if your container's opening is close to the girth, they'll fit perfectly and stay in place nicely. They are made of plastic and make a quite robust impression. . Obviously, you don't have to worry about dropping and breaking them. One of the downsides of these plastic tools will be that you won't be able to completely remove the smell after using them. I would recommend heating them in water after each use to clean them (again, they're plastic so don't boil them). This is a quality product and I would give this 5 stars if it weren't already used and the documentation mentioned above was not included. I recommend them and will buy again.
