Review on Artway Studio Casebound Sketchbook Cartridge by Jennifer Roberts

The paper is thick and smooth and works very well with all the mediums I've used (graphite, charcoal, watercolor, gouache, marker, ink). Pen and ink is a pleasure to work with and layers of watercolor are possible if you're willing to be patient. The watercolor doesn't seem to sink into the paper or dull like some other mixed media albums with softer, more fibrous papers, and I find the painting in this book quite satisfying. The paper holds up well and doesn't unroll as easily as other sketchbooks. In general, the sketchbook is well made, accepts various media very well and lies flat. I would buy it again if I didn't already have a few other sketchbooks to fill in.
