cute collar! It has big polka dots in pink, blue and lime. I could easily see a male wearing this as well. I bought it for our golden retriever. It looks so pretty with her auburn hair. But it is also a strong collar. It's an inch thick and has many adjustments. The quick release buckle is large and durable. There is also a durable stainless steel ring for attaching the leash. The collar is slightly shiny, but it's some kind of woven fabric. Since the background is black, the dirt is not easily visible. I love him because he is so bright and cheerful. Our dog is always so happy and this color suits his personality.
