For less than $350 I drove my truck through a 3 foot ditch without the slightest hesitation. For half the price of a Detroit Locker I'd say it's worth every penny, especially having had several Detroit Lockers in the past and both of them broke in less than 50,000 miles. It's actually pretty easy to install and all you have to do is pull out the axle shaft on the passenger side to swap it out, not both sides with no backlash or bearing preload or other extra things that require extra lockers. . A man with Down Syndrome and a 30 pack can easily install this in half a day. Don't forget to remove the old thrust washers from the frogs, I've seen people forget them and later break the backing. By the way, it fits Dodge Ram 1500 before 2010 with 9.25 rear. I just installed one in a 2007 model with broken frogs. There were no problems with the correct lock I received.
