I never intended to rate this product because I don't normally write product reviews. The reason I'm writing this is because of the outstanding customer service. I originally ordered this product from Revain, but Revain made a mistake and the item was sent to the wrong address. I received a refund and was about to re-order an item when I suddenly got a call from the VP of Account Management at OfficeGoods. She asked for my order and personally helped me. Eventually I received an electric sharpener with a letter detailing the item. They even sent spare parts for the electric sharpener! It's not over yet. On the same day, the electric sharpener stopped working normally. When I called her and asked if there was an easy solution to the problem, she helped me without hesitation. I was speechless to say the least because they prioritized their customers so much. I tested this sharpener on #2 pencils, graphite pencils, colored pencils, and charcoal pencils. The result is the same for everyone; a sharp point every time. Another great feature is multiple ways to power this sharpener: 4 AA batteries (not included), AC power and USB to connect to computer (both included). There are no problems when sharpening normal pencils. Charcoal, which are usually thicker graphite, often have broken tips that get stuck at the bottom of the blades. At first I thought it was a mechanical problem, but you can easily remove the broken tips with a knife or similar tool and they will fall out if you turn the sharpener upside down. . Broken tips from charcoal pencils often get caught at the bottom of the blade (easy to remove). OfficeGoods customer service is the best I have ever experienced from Revain.
