This is a really good outdoor timer with most of the features you need. Pros: Ability to use two separate timers depending on the time of day. For example, you can turn on the light for a few hours in the evening and then turn it on again early in the morning. There's also a dusk-to-dawn option and another setting for dusk with a 6-hour cut-off. Setting for a simple "activation" function, useful for testing. - There is also a master switch to turn off the entire device completely. - Good covers on each individual socket. The device appears to be well waterproof. Setting the timers is easy and convenient, and the screen is easy to read. Swivel bar makes positioning easier. Cons: attitudes. Most timers I've used in the past have 2 and 4 hour settings, ie turn on at dusk and turn off after 2 or 4 hours. This particular timer only has a 6 hour setting and a sunset/sunrise setting. So far, so good. I bought two of these Christmas light timers. If I have any durability issues I will report here and update my review.
