Leaking handle during installation
I was trying to replace my old drain valve because it was leaking around the o-rings. I bought it because the time frame suited my needs. As soon as I installed it it started leaking from the top of the valve. Thought maybe it was installed wrong. Removed, looked, no. Just the bad part. Since I had everything disassembled I just swiped the o-rings off the new block and put them on the old one, reinstalled the old one, threw away the new part because I stole parts from it and haven't had any problems since.
