I liked the Shimano adapter until I got this one which seems to be a variant of the Origin8 version. The outer plate has 6 teeth onto which the rotor is simply pushed, then the back of the adapter is put on and the whole thing is held together with a locking ring. The tooth profile was tight on the hub so there was no movement and the disc was clamped really well. I tried taking it apart and a little prying with a flathead screwdriver worked great. For example, a later replacement of the rotor would not require T15 bits on the screws, which would be difficult to replace if damaged. Bought another for a front wheel after seeing how well it worked for a rear wheel.
