There was a genuine error installing but it works great. Except now I have an error telling me this is not a genuine apple product. First, the screen didn't come off as easily as a video, even when heated. Screwdrivers are cheap and very easy to remove. The print can be ruined very easily if you don't place it in the right place. You have to be careful not to touch the buttons, otherwise they will light up with no screen connected. I used a different screen protector because it was just cheap plastic. Not for the faint of heart but it works now and was delivered quickly. Update: after using the touch screen doesn't want to work in the top left corner! The screen also dims without my actions. And the colors just aren't that bright either... Update 2: I removed the splash screen and the touchscreen works as it should, but not with the glass splash screen. Also, I fixed the dimming issue, locked the screen during installation and once I unlocked the screen it works as it should. I still get this annoying warning that the replacement screen is not a genuine Apple replacement.
