I'm not a big fan of Keurig's multi-thread module. It's definitely solid and gets the job done, but it's expensive and has more parts and steps to deal with than the non-Keurig pods that fitted my previous Keurig and worked great. That being said, I like my new multithreaded Keurig, so I'm dealing with the inconveniences of a reusable module. One point I didn't want to compromise on was the use of paper filters. Yes, I know filters aren't necessary, but 1) I don't like sediment in coffee and 2) filters trap coffee oils (studies have shown that coffee oils can increase cholesterol). Sieve that didn't work so well. I then tried inserting the paper filter into the black capsule adapter and using the mesh filter to push it down. Success! The filter is now inserted and the container can be filled. Take a look at the filter after you've brewed your cup and you'll see what didn't make it into your cup.
