Review on GIGABYTE Z490 AORUS ALC1220 VB Motherboard by Aaron Kindler

The bad hype over the years put me off Gigabyte, but it was always the same 2 lame reasons, complicated bios and buggy software. Neither is true and in any case ineffective. Good quality, extra powerful VRMs make this the best board I've ever used. First, the bios is a bit more difficult to navigate than others, but unless you're a hardcore overclocker you won't need any of this, and if you are you probably won't notice. My DRGB looks great, but there's no reason to settle on a specific board. This board is solid and has M2 heatsinks that look great with RGB. Tons of USB ports. When I installed my Win 10 Pro M.2 SSD with all my programs and ran the drivers CD it just booted and worked with Win 10 enabled and my old board was MSI. I have nothing bad to say about this board but I will amend my review when warranted.
