If you want to do something warm with a tight knit, this is a great choice. My nephew and his wife are both in the military, so my brother jokingly suggested I make them a camouflage baby blanket for the new arrival. The colors of this yarn were perfect for this - I know it's supposed to be fall colors, which it is, but the quilt looked totally military. It's really soft and easy to work with, but I probably won't use it for a baby blanket again - it's quite heavy and difficult to knit and crochet. But it's perfect for a hat or headband, which I do with the rest.
